Dr. Mandeep Singh is a subspecialist in Maternal and has been the Director of Kypros Nicolaides Fetal Medicine Centre at South end University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust since 2014. He has also worked as an honorary consultant at King's College Hospital's (KCH) Harris Birthright research center for Fetal Medicine. He is also a faculty for Kasturba Hospital, manipal and Manipal Academy of higher education. He has held several management and leadership positions in the NHS and became the Clinical Director of Women's and Children's Services at South end University Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust in 2017. He was later appointed as the First Medical Director for Women’s & Children Division at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust, Essex, UK. He earned an MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Shivaji University in India, a Diploma in Advanced Obstetric Ultrasound from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the UK, and a Diploma in Fetal Medicine from the Harris Birthright Center for Fetal Medicine in the UK. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (MRCOG).
Dr Mandeep Singh has keen interest in Research and has published numerous research articles in prestigious international publications and has served as a faculty member at several international conferences. His research topics include prevention of preterm delivery, preeclampsia, multiple pregnancy and recurrent pregnancy loss. He is trained in performing diagnostic and therapeutic invasive procedures such as fetoscopic laser separation of placenta , fetoscopic endotracheal occlusion (FETO), fetal blood transfusion, and other diagnostic invasive procedures.
Dr. Mandeep Singh has recently has joined Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi as Medical Director for Women’s & Children (Burjeel Farha) and will be the lead consultant for Kypros Nicolaides Fetal Medicine and Therapy center at Burjeel Medical City and services across Burjeel Farha Hospitals.
